36kV PV grid connection – Ferrara

36kV PV grid connection – Ferrara

CEBAT builds one of the first 36 kV MV ducts for a 150 MW photovoltaic cluster.

CEBAT has been selected by Enfinity Global to build medium-voltage connection infrastructure for a cluster of photovoltaic plants in the Ferrara area. This project consolidates the company’s role in developing advanced solutions for connecting large-scale renewable energy plants.

The project represents one of the first examples in Italy of using 36 kV medium voltage ducts to connect utility-scale plants, with a total power output of approximately 150 MW. This configuration, in line with the solutions adopted by Terna, allows developers to connect directly to the transmission grid, avoiding the need to build a dedicated user station.

Activities include:

  • Executive design, construction and testing of 36 kV MV conduits for connecting systems to the electricity grid
  • Installation and laying of cables and ancillary infrastructure, including excavations and civil works
  • Coordination of construction site activities, in compliance with deadlines and technical and authorization requirements

The project consolidates CEBAT’s role in the development of advanced solutions for connecting large-scale renewable energy plants.
